Description:

Synergia together with the international consulting company EPRD, has conducted a Joint Evaluation of Non-Formal Middle School Education-Equivalency Pilot Programme (NFMSE-EP). The programme was launched in 2016 as an alternative and flexible strategy for the continuing education of both NFPE achievers and out-of-school children in middle school education aged 13 and above.

The purpose of this evaluation in both summative and formative with a view to assess the performance of NFME-EP. The evaluation has also identified lessons, good practises and innovations to inform the development of strategies to scale up NFMSE and inform the MoE’s mid-term review of the NESP.
